Realization of Integrated Ocean DEvelopment and UTilization Systems English Japanese

General information

◆ Objective

During the last decade, the Offshore Industry has been developed world wide. Although Japan has an advanced marine industry, the integrated engineering capabilities from upstream to downstream are strongly required for the country to become a major player. In the RIO DE UT, research related to the development of offshore oil & gas fields and other academic activities are carried out in order to improve such integrated engineering capabilities in Japan.

◆ Reseach and Study

(1) Overrall offshore oil & gas field development system
(2) Prediction and monitoring technology
(3) Subsea technology
We will improve our training and educational system using the result of those studies and carry out professional training and hold seminars for the
industry engineers. Graduate school teachers join the lecture and the seminar.

◆ Expectation

It is expected that the RIO DE UT activities result in creating new engineering systems.

Improving integrated engineering capability, we also expect our research is appreciated throughout the world and hope to find business opportunities.

In the future, the talented persons who learned advanced engineering and technologies here will play active rolls in exploiting within EEZ of Japan and also in the world.
